Style: 13-in-1 Camping Hammer-RedVine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
Considering the low price point, this is a surprisingly well made hammer multi-tool. I wouldn't use it to drive super long nails into hardwood or anything like that, but for driving tent stakes and light hammering duty, this works just fine.
For a 13-in-1, there are only a few things that I would actually get practical use out of (besides the hammer function, which is the star of the show), but the saw blade is decently sharp and could cut through some thinner branches, the knife may come in handy, and the ruler along the flat edge of the saw could prove useful in some situations...but things like the screwdriver bits, wrenches, etc., I'm almost certainly never going to actually use (I have other robust multitools, with actual bits, for that kind of work).
I will say that these super-thin, super-short ferro rods are useless. I've used ferro rods many times, I've never been able to get the sparks needed to actually ignite tinder from these types of micro novelty rods. This one is no different. My hands are just too big, and the quality (or lack thereof) of the rods themselves makes it virtually impossible. No worries though, I keep (more than one) long, thick ferro rod in vehicles and in emergency supplies at home, and same with large and loud emergency whistles, so this particular part of the tool will never see the light of day.
Overall, a good value considering the inexpensive price, and definitely giftable if you're buying for someone else.
